This is a moderate-level retreat with some hiking involved. The most physically demanding part is the trek to Tungnath and Kartik Swami Temple, which requires good fitness levels. However, we move at a comfortable pace, and those who prefer not to hike can enjoy the surroundings at their own rhythm.

We will stay in a mix of ashrams, guesthouses, and comfortable hotels. The accommodations are clean, simple, and chosen for their spiritual ambiance and proximity to sacred sites. Rooms are typically shared with one or two other participants.

The closest international airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi, India). From there, you can take a domestic flight to Dehradun (Jolly Grant Airport), which is about a 45-minute drive from Rishikesh. We can assist with recommendations for transport from the airport to the retreat location.

A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration.

April is one of the best times to visit the Himalayas. The weather is pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from 15-25°C (59-77°F) in Rishikesh and lower elevations, and cooler temperatures (5-15°C / 41-59°F) in the higher regions. Nights can be chilly, so warm layers are recommended.

Yes, most travelers require a visa to enter India. You can apply for an e-Visa online, which is a straightforward process for most nationalities. We recommend applying at least one month in advance.

Yes, travel insurance is mandatory for this retreat. It should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and travel disruptions.

To secure your place, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The early bird price is €1,650 for the first 5 sign-ups, after which the price is €1,770. Payment details and deadlines will be shared upon inquiry.

What Our Clients Say

Audrey H.

A truly enriching stay in a warm family-owned yoga center with lots of passion and good energy. Sanskriti is a special place that brought calm and joy during my stay. I especially enjoyed the beautiful zen garden, bathing in the cold river and eating delicious Indian food.

Tom L.
